Free cold brew iced coffee at Saxbys Fridays in August

In need of a summery end-of-week pick-me-up? Saxbys is giving away free cold brew iced coffee at 13 Philly-area locations every Friday in August. So instead of dozing off at your desk and dreaming of the weekend, head to a Saxbys and perk up.

Cold brew coffee is what it sounds like: the coffee grounds are steeps in cold water instead of hot, which takes a lot longer but many coffee addicts swear tastes better. Saxby is giving away the 12 oz. size, in a partnership with tourism board Visit Philadelphia.

Snap a photo of you and your free coffee and post it with #saxbys and #visitphilly, and Visit Philadelphia just might shout you out on social media. Saxbys will also be handing out free cold brews (at “surprise times”) on Fridays in August at Visit Philadelphia’s #visitphilly Photo Spots locations, including the giant red chair at Spruce Street Harbor Park.
