Fairmount Bunny Hop Bar Crawl

This Thursday, March 28, Philadelphians looking to celebrate Easter in a spirited way can head to the Fairmount area of the city to partake in the annual Bunny Hop Bar Crawl. From 6 to 10 p.m., Bar Hygge, Fare, The Green Room, Jack’s Firehouse, La Calaca Feliz, Pier Bar and Urban Saloon will be offering food and drinks specials to those participating. 

Tickets come out to be $10, and limited-edition bunny ears will be available to purchase to benefit the Trauma Survivors Foundation at the event. More information can be found online.

Cique Du Soleil’s ‘Corteo’

Cirque Du Soleil is headed to Allentown this weekend to put on six performances of the company’s famous ‘Corteo’ showcase. This unique production, directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, first premiered in Montreal in April 2005 and has traveled around the globe and country numerous times before returning to Allentown this spring. 

As a release notes, in a Cirque du Soleil first, the stage will be central in the arena and it will divide the venue with each half of the audience facing the other half, giving a unique perspective not only of the show, but also a performer’s eye view of the escapade. The showcase, which centers on a clown’s imaginative and festive parade will feature acrobats, comedy and other theatrical elements. 

Tickets for shows (running March 28 to 31) are currently on sale.

Bunny Baskets and Brunch at City Winery

City Winery will be offering a special Easter celebration this Saturday, March 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The venue will be offering some brunch dishes and drinks for all ages, but the family-friendly event will also feature meet and greet with the Bunny, Easter basket customization, and an Easter egg hunt through the mall.

Admission is free, but it’s recommended to join the waitlist online to ensure a spot.

Blooming Garden Pop-up at Craftsman Row Saloon

Craftsman Row Saloon has a new Blooming Garden Pop-Up. Open now at the Jeweler’s Row venue, this colorful and bright activation will be on scene until Memorial Day Weekend, and in normal fashion, the restaurant and bar has gone all out with decorations and themed menu items.

Craftsman’s latest milkshake creation for the Pop-Up has been dubbed the “Wild(Flower) About You” made with local chocolate ice cream, white chocolate and edible floral bark, strawberry jam puff, rose dust, green sprinkles and whipped cream. Philadelphians can pair the sweet treats with the venue’s new edible “bouquets” as well.

Cocktails have also undergone a garden transformation with options spanning the Petal to the Metal Espresso Martini (vodka, kahlua, baileys, espresso, rosewater and rose), Orange Creamsicle Season (vanilla vodka, triple sec and an orange garden ice cube) and more.

‘Cheers to Murder’

There’s another show running at The Red Rum Theater , this one is an ode to the popular fan favorite sitcom, ‘Cheers.’ Titled ‘Cheers to Murder’ this whodunnit comedy show will run at the venue every Saturday (8 p.m.) until April 28. 

As part of the immersive experience of the show itself, they’ve introduced an all-new drink menu tailored specifically to the show, a release notes, including “Diane’s Mule” and “Fraiser’s City Street Gin & Tonic.” There will also be brews and beers from a partnership with Cheshire Brewing Company. MitiS at Franklin Music Hall

This Saturday, MitiS will be performing at Franklin Music Hall for a special show beginning at 8 p.m. The performer is a Pennsylvania local who has been making music since 2010, most popularly known for his interpretation of piano-driven melodic bass hits. 

As a release notes, at the concert on Saturday, MitiS will be performing a live set that integrates his production chops and piano roots creating an encompassment of both his early music endeavors and his current vision of musical composition. Tickets are currently on sale for this Saturday’s show.
