Fun things to safely do this weekend in Philly

Virtually celebrate the MOAR’s 3rd birthday this weekend.
Museum of the American Revolution

Looking for some fun, unique and safe ways to spend your weekend? In the age of social distancing, Metro has you covered. A few Philly establishments have come up with inventive ways to still have fun this weekend while staying healthy.

MOAR

The Museum of the American Revolution will be virtually celebrating its third birthday this Sunday, April 19. Philadelphians are invited to help commemorate the occasion by visiting the museum’s Facebook page and signing a digital birthday card. By signing and then also sharing your favorite museum memory, you will automatically be entered for a chance to win four tickets to visit the MOAR when it reopens. The museum will also be sharing an 18th-century whiskey cake recipe (which was particularly favored by George Washington) and a cocktail recipe for a celebratory toast. Then at 11 a.m., join the MOAR via Facebook to observe the anniversary of the “Shot Heard ‘Round the World” that ignited the Revolutionary War on April 19, 1775  as well.
