Get Fresh Faced for Holiday Festivities

It’s that time of year when we start primping and prepping for this season’s holiday events. With all the pictures you’ll be posing for at parties and family gatherings, who doesn’t want to look their best? Enter Liz Earle naturally active skincare. I took a bit of a risk in trying the company’s cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser just a week before a family wedding, but this time, it paid off. I’m so in love with this product, I’m getting ready to order the companion moisturizer.

Free from mineral oil, it has a rich and creamy texture and swiftly removes all traces of face and eye make-up, even stubborn mascara. Naturally active ingredients include eucalyptus and cocoa butter for smoother, clearer skin.

The plant based cleanser has a two-phase action. Phase one: cleansing. Pump the bottle once or twice, depending on the amount of product on your face and use your fingertips to massage onto skin in a circular motion, hitting your lids and lashes last to avoid getting eye make-up all over your face.

Phase two: polishing. Rinse the included pure muslin cloth in hot water and polish off the cream to gently dislodge dead skin cells and help reveal clean, soft and radiant skin. Use a clean area of the cloth for each section of your face. You may need to re-wet the cloth to warm it up as it will cool as you’re using it. Rinse the cloth thoroughly when you’re through and allow it to air dry. Splash your face with cool water and pat dry and you’re done.

I’m truly amazed at how fresh my face feels and how soft and lovely (dare I say ‘glowing?’) my complexion is after using it for just a week. My skin is definitely ready for some holiday sparkle.
