Fly School Circus Arts is bringing back its flying trapeze lessons for the summer and fall seasons, starting July 4 weekend. The two-hour lessons take place through November in an outdoor lot at Fifth Street and Cecil B. Moore — which means if you’re brave enough to look around while soaring 25 feet high, you’ll catch some great views of Center City.
Students, age 6 and up, will learn how to jump from the platform, swing through the air, flip, and be caught. (Last summer, it took this writer a few false starts before working up the nerve to jump off — and no instructors or onlookers laughed. There’s no shame in a fear of heights.)
Classes are $60, or bring a group of 10 for $540.
During the grand opening weekend, use promo code Summer_opening to get $10 off.
