Police are investigating an alleged rape of a 12-year-old girl at Francis Myers Recreation Center in the Kingsessing section of the city on Monday.
The girl reportedly told investigators that a group of three to four boys assaulted her in a third-floor stairwell. A volunteer coordinator who found the girl reported seeing a group of boys running from the third floor and contacted police.
Volunteers said there was a basketball clinic and line dancing going on at the time.
Police have reportedly interviewed two teenage boys in connection with the incident, but no charges have been filed.
