Police are looking for a man who allegedly pressed a Taser to a woman’s neck, shocked her and robbed her in broad daylight.
The incident happened shortly after 11 a.m. Friday on the 500 block of Ruscomb Street in Olney. Investigators said the woman parked her car and, as she was walking to a nearby store, an unknown man shocked her in her neck with a Taser, grabbed her shoulder bag and fled.
The bag contained $1,000 in cash, jewelry, a wallet with the victim’s ID and credit cards and a Sony PlayStation, police said.
The suspect is described as a bald black man in his mid-30s with a medium build, medium complexion and a full beard. A witness told police he saw the man get into a green car, possibly a Toyota Camry, and flee south on Fairhill Street after the robbery.
