A 10-year-old girl was seen riding in a dog cage in the bed of a pickup truck Monday just outside Pittsburgh, thePittsburgh Tribune Review reported.
Motorists spied the girl around 7 p.m. riding on thePennsylvania Turnpike in Millvale.
The girl’s parents – Abbey Carlson, 29, and Thomas Fishinger 30 – face chargesof endangering the welfare of a child.
The parents told police the girl wanted to be with the dog, the newspaper reported.
