Hit and Run Injures 11-Year-Old Skateboarder in Southwest Philaelphia

Police are seeking a woman who hit an 11-year-old skateboarder in Southwest Philadelphia last night.

The woman was driving westbound on Greenway Avenue near 65th Street when she hit the boy around 8 p.m. According to witnesses, she stopped, got out of the car, looked at the injured child, then got back into the car and drove away.

The victim was taken to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and is in stable condition with cuts and bruises to his head and sides.

Police are looking for a black or dark blue BMW or Mercedes sedan in connection with the incident.
