Hit-and-run leaves man critically injured in Hunting Park

A 45-year-old man is in critical condition after he was the victim of a hit-and-run early Friday morning in Hunting park, ABC reported.

The incident, which happened at 3 a.m. at 5th Street and Hunting Park Avenue, was originally reported as a shooting but officers who arrived at the scene instead found the man had been struck by a vehicle.

The man was taken to a local hospital for his injuries, and police are checking surveillance footage for evidence, ABC reported.
