Housing named after Fattah

WEST PHILADELPHIA – A housing project in the Mantua section now has a familiar name to it: The Fattah Homes at 40th Street and Lancaster Avenue is named for one of Philadelphia’s longest tenured, current congressmen.

U.S. Rep. Chaka Fattah joins City Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell as namesakes to public housing in West Philadelphia, with Blackwell’s project called Jannie’s Place just around the corner.
