In McDermott they trust

After the Cowboys broke a few big gains last week, Eagles defensive coordinator Sean McDermott decided to hold the troops back. Tony Romo thrived as a result, going 24-of-34 for 311 yards and two scores. Don’t expect that to happen again.

“We backed off the blitz a little bit, which I take responsibility for; I should not have done that,” McDermott said.

Romo said he expects to see a completely different defense Saturday in Dallas.

“I suspect we’re going to see every blitz they’ve ever invented,” Romo said.
