The firm added that despite making several payment arrangements, Fattah “has knowingly defaulted upon each.”

Fattahcurrently faces federal bribery and corruption charges but insists he’s still running for reelection. Yet, questions continue to swirl about the former political powerhouse’s financial health.

WHYY’s Newsworks reported that Fattah’s campaign treasury was “nearly empty” with a mere $2,067 cash on hand.

In a recent poll of 2nd District Democratic primary voters –and despite representing Philadelphia in Congress for over two decades –Fattah currently trails challengerstate Rep. Dwight Evans by 16 points.
