Living on the eastern edge of Passyunk – Google calls this South Philly neighborhood “Wharton,” but I don’t – I rarely cross over Broad Street to our neighbor, Point Breeze. (Especially after Madira Bar did away with its tandoori chicken cheesesteak.) But if you’ve been paying attention to the fickle Philly market, Point Breeze is the new “hot” neighborhood, and was even named so by Curbed back in January, which predicted home prices would skyrocket.

New constructions and renovated single-family homes are abundant, and prices are still low in this super accessible neighborhood. We hear parking is a pain, but that’s old news by this point. Check out these three digs we currently love:
