Irish pride marches through Philly at annual St. Patrick’s Day parade

Irish eyes were smiling on Sunday, as the 255th annual Philadelphia St. Patrick’s Day parade marched through the streets with pride.

The parade took place following Mass at Saint Patrick’s Church on 20th and Locust streets in Center City. Philadelphians and visitors wore their green and celebrated throughout Center City, leading up to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where the parade’s performance area and main grandstands were located.
