Joel Embiid is a man about town.
Philadelphia, London, Miami, and now Los Angeles.
According to his Instagram story, the Sixers’ 23-year-old center touched down in L.A at some point Wednesday, after making a much-publicized appearance Monday at the MLB home run derby — and catching two homers while chilling with rapper Meek Mill in left field.

He also apparently made a stop after the derby at a Miami night club, where he partied with David Ortiz, Giancarlo Stanton and other baseball royalty.
Embiid has been all over the world during the NBA’s offseason. After getting surgery in L.A. to help his knee, he was the Philly representitive at the NBA Draft lottery. He also made a trip across the pond to take in the Preimer League celebrity soccer game — a game he was invited to participate in but did not (thankfully) due to his knee injury.

He was at the Sixers’ practice facility when the team worked out and later traded for Markelle Fultz, and spent nearly a week in Miami leading up to the MLB All-Star game.

And now, logic suggests he is in Los Angeles to attend the annual ESPN sports award show, airing on ABC Wednesday night. If history has shown one thing to be true reguarding Embiid, the camera always seems to find him.
