Jackson says he’ll ‘be ready’

DeSean Jackson has been in the news a lot. First, his infamous “Nestea Plunge” touchdown
celebration was splashed all over NFL highlight reels, then he appeared on the “T.Ocho Show” to talk about his contract.

Jackson, who is nursing a sore foot, returned to practice Thursday in a limited capacity.

“I’m alright. I’ll be ready for Sunday,” Jackson said. “That’s all that matters. I can’t let my team down.”

Jackson said he was unfairly fined for last Sunday’s TD routine. And the receiver isn’t worried about his contract. It won’t be a distraction.

“It’s not going to get in the way of anything,” Jackson said. “I know what I’m worth, what I’m capable of doing … I think my fans would tell you I’m a top 5 receiver.”
