Jeremy Lin’s underwear shows up on eBay

Early Tuesday the internet was abuzz with an eBay item titled “Jeremy Lin boxer briefs from harvard.” Then, the Lin-timates suddenly disappeared from the website’s listings.

How did the undies arrive in the seller’s possession in the first place?

“My brothers friend went to Harvard and was in the same dorm, got his boxers from the dryer on accident. Got them from him for $100 because hes stupid. Buy now and these could be worth alot in the future [sic].”

The bidding started at $1,000, but the seller wanted $10,000. However, eBay removed the item before a single bid came in. It was set to expire on Feb. 29.

Our favorite part of the Lin-sale was the fact that the seller made a point to advertise “free shipping” and marked the item condition as “acceptable.”
