A warrant has been issued for perennial troublemaker Marcus Vick.
The younger brother of Eagles QB Mike Vick failed to turn himself into authorities Monday evening, when he was supposed to begin serving a 10-day jail sentence. The 27-year-old was sentenced last Thursday on a contempt of court charge after twice no-showing on a charge of driving on a suspended license.
Marcus Vick’s rap sheet runs deeper than that, too. He has a 2006 conviction for disorderly conduct and a 2009 for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Marcus also picked up a DUI in 2008.
Going back to his college days at Virginia Tech, Vick was in the headlines more for his issues than his athletic prowess. He once gave the crowd the middle finger and is probably best known for stomping on the leg of future NFL star Elvis Dumervil.
