An April 1 public hearing on the overhaul of the technology, which is expected to take a few years and cost more than $100 million, will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at SEPTA headquarters, 1234 Market St. For more information, go to www.septa.org/fares/npt/index.html.
