Join us today for a talk with Carlo Simone III, President and Business Manager of United Steelworkers Local 286. The union represents a broad range of industries and workers, such as the setup and folding box industry and school bus drivers. Mr. Simone first got involved in organized labor as a teenager, and then got recruited to become an organizer at a non-union location in 1985. He was successful at organizing in that location, which gave him the opportunity to get brought on as an organizer for Local 286. Mr. Simone has been serving in this capacity for over 20 years.
