Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair will once again be reunited with his longtime diplomatic partner, former President Bill Clinton, later this year when Blair receives the Liberty Medal at the Constitution Center.
It was announced yesterday that Blair would be the 2010 recipient of the honor and will be presented the medal Sept. 17 by Clinton, who serves as chairman of the Philadelphia institution on Independence Mall.
“It is a particular pleasure to receive this award from my great friend and ally President Clinton,” Blair said in a statement.
