Indulge this year at Main Line Today Restaurant Week

It’s that time of year again—Main Line Today Restaurant Week is officially back to put the spotlight on the best and brightest culinary venues of the area for its fall event. The 14 day-activation will kick off Nov. 5 and run until Nov. 18 and will feature top spots from around Montgomery, Delaware, and Chester counties.

“Main Line Today’s Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to venture out and sample new venues for a terrific price,” said Main Line Today Publisher Michael Reath in a statement. “It’s also a way to show support for the amazing restaurants that make the Main Line and western suburbs a dining destination.”

As a release states, Main Line Today Restaurant Week began in 2021 and is offered twice a year. The event has expanded from a few dozen restaurants to over 40 (and growing) in 2023. With a special focus on independent and local operations, this activation aims to rally diners and foodies to support the most notable restaurants, bars, eateries, BYOBs and takeout spots while taking advantage of special prix fixe offers.

Those offers span three and four-course prix fixe menus that range from $25 to $35 for lunch and $30 to $55 for dinner (plus beverage, tax, and gratuity.) All options are available for dine-in, and some for take-out. This year, the culinary event spans three counties and dozens of townships, with returning favorites including Al Pastor, Autograph Brasserie, Lola’s Garden, Rosalie, Terrain Café Devon, Twenty One Pips and more.

Philadelphians will be able to find a wide variety of cuisines to choose from as well, with spots offering up Indian (Nalan Indian Cuisine), Italian (Mercato Ristorante and Bar), Asian (Motto), Mexican (Amada), Mediterranean (Dua Restaurant), and American (Blondie) cuisines. 

Some spots stand out for what they offer on top of the deals, like Twenty One Pips. The Game Room and kitchen opened in the summer of 2022 and comes from owners of the Thirsty Dice, which opened as Philadelphia’s first board game café in 2018. And just like their City of Brotherly Love counterpart, patrons will get the full board game experience while there, but this time paired with locally sourced sharable menu items and a curated beverage selection.  

Other spots stand out for its atmosphere, like Lola’s Garden. The fairly new concept located in Ardmore (it opened in 2021) comes from Avram Hornik and FCM Hospitality, who are known around the city for other venues such as Morgan’s Pier, Juno, The Garden at Cherry Street Pier, Rosy’s Taco Bar, Harper’s Garden, River Beer Garden and Parks on Tap. Lola’s however marks the first venture for the organization out to the suburbs. The 4,300 square foot space is broken down to 1,800 square feet inside for dining, a lounge and bar, and 2,500 square feet outside for the giant four-season outdoor trellis.
