A 21-year-old man died Monday night shortly after he was shot and then hit by a car in Germantown.
Police responding to a report of a shooting at 10:05 p.m. found Tyrek B. Autrey, of the 1000 block of West York Street, injured in the roadway on the 4600 block of Morris Street.
Autrey had been shot multiple times, according to police, and also apparently sustained injuries when he was struck by a passing car.
Autrey was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital at 10:23 p.m., Philadelphia Police Department spokeswoman Officer Christine O’Brien said.
No information on a suspect, or suspects, was available Tuesday morning.
