Police have made an arrest in a hit-and-run that happened two years ago in Port Richmond.
Robert Sickman, 26, is charged with DUI and causing an accident involving death for allegedly mowing down 28-year-old William McCue as he crossed Richmond Street during the early morning hours of April 10, 2011.
Police said Sickman never stopped and McCue died on the scene. Sickman’s car was recovered the next morning.
Sickman turned himself in to the Accident Investigation Division today after officers identified him as the car’s operator.
He was arraigned last night and bail was set at $50,000. Sickman is next court due in court on April 3 for a preliminary hearing.
