The Philadelphia Police Department says that one man’s desire for another man’s things was outright robbery.
Cops said that on Sunday, Jan. 3, a 61-year-old man was inside the Sunoco gas station at Broad and Catharinestreets buying lottery tickets when an unknown male approached from behind and “snatched approximately $350 from the complainant’s hand.”
In surveillance video released by police, the 61-year-old victim is dressed in orange robes and resembles aBuddhist monk.

“After snatching the money, the suspect ran from the store with the complainant following him. The complainant was able to catch the suspect when a struggle ensued,” authorities added. “During the struggle, the complainant was pushed to the ground sustaining a cut to his left leg.”
Policedescribed the suspect as a black male driving a silver Ford Mustang with a Pennsylvania license plateof JHY-3783.
