The Philadelphia Police Department says that one man’s desire for another man’s things was outright robbery.
Cops said that on Sunday, Jan. 3, a 61-year-old man was inside the Sunoco gas station at Broad and Catharinestreets buying lottery tickets when an unknown male approached from behind and “snatched approximately $350 from the complainant’s hand.” In surveillance video released by police, the 61-year-old victim is dressed in orange robes and resembles aBuddhist monk.

The complainant was able to catch the suspect when a struggle ensued,” authorities added. “During the struggle, the complainant was pushed to the ground sustaining a cut to his left leg.” Policedescribed the suspect as a black male driving a silver Ford Mustang with a Pennsylvania license plateof JHY-3783.
