Man held on $100k bail on charges he tried to run over his neighbor, twice

An attorney is being held on $100,000 bail after he was accused of trying to run over a neighbor with his car not once, but twice.

Robert Creem, 69, of Whitehall Township, faces charges of aggravated assault, retaliation against a witness or victim, reckless endangerment, making terroristic threats and simple assault, Philly.com reported.

Authorities told the paper that the incidents began on May 31, when Creem allegedly drove his car across 200 feet of grass in an attempt to hit his neighbor Dale Stickel, who was walking a neighbor’s cat at the time. Stickel reportedly told police Creem made a second attempt to run him over before driving away.

Creem was in court Tuesday on charges related to that incident, where he was ordered to stay out of the condo complex where he and Stickel lived.

Later that night, he allegedly made another attempt, this time nearly hitting Creem at a speed estimated near 60 miles per hour, the Philly.com report said.

Stickel also reportedly told police Creem stopped the car to tell him “You’re dead, I’m putting a contract on your head.”

Creem’s next court date wasn’t immediately available.
