Police are seeking a man who robbed a Northeast Philadelphia bank this afternoon.
The man walked into a TD Bank on the 2200 block of Cottman Avenue shortly before 12:30 and gave a threatening demand note to a teller. After receiving an unspecified amount of cash, he fled on foot down Cottman towards the Roosevelt Mall.
Police are seeking a 5’5″ to 5’6″ black man in his 40s with a thin-to-medium build sporting some interesting fashion choices: a straw hat, sunglasses, a blue-and-gray striped shirt and capri jean shorts. He was carrying a dark tote bag with the word DOUG’s Boutique in orange lettering on the side.
Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000.
