A 24-year-old man died after being shot early Tuesday morning in Frankford, according to police.
Authorities said he was shot four times — in the nose, abdomen, right thigh and right arm — just before 2 a.m. on the 4900 block of Penn Street. Medics pronounced him dead a short time later at Temple University Hospital.
Investigators recovered a gun at the scene, but no one has been apprehended.
Two men were hospitalized following separate stabbings Monday evening.
In Tacony, a 45-year-old man was stabbed once in the face and multiple times in both arms at around 5:45 p.m. outside on the 4900 block of Longshore Avenue, police said. He was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
Earlier, at around 5 p.m., officers found a 65-year-old man with a stab wound to his abdomen inside an apartment on the 3100 block of Frankford Avenue in Kensington. He is expected to survive, authorities said.
No arrests have been made in either case.
