People left the viewing and came onto the street after the shooting, but some remained inside as police conducted their investigation, the Courier-Post stated, adding that Serrano and family members had to tell other arriving relatives that Vazquez had not survived being shot. “I went outside, and he was lying in a puddle of blood,” Vazquez’s cousin, Maria ValCarcelo, described the scene to 6ABC, which added that Vazquez was pronounced dead at the scene.
