Man Shoots Woman Twice in Kensington

Authorities are investigating an early-morning shooting that left a woman in critical condition.

Police responding to a radio call for a person with a gun around 3:50 a.m. found a woman on the 3000 block of Jasper Street bleeding from the face and chest.

According to the woman, 38, a man picked her up for date and they parked in a driveway. When the date ended, the man exited the car and shot at her twice, hitting her in the face and chest.

He then fled in a dark-colored, possibly black or blue
Cadillac toward Clearfield Street.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s wearing dark clothes.

The woman was taken to Temple Hospital in critical
condition.
