Man shot multiple times in Oxford Circle

A 24-year-old man is hospitalized after he was shot several times in the Oxford Circle section of Northeast Philadelphia last night.

The victim, who police identified only as “Brian,” was found by officers around 10:45 p.m. lying on the steps of a home on the 6000 block of Agusta Street. He was shot in the upper back and elbow.

The man allegedly told police that he had been sitting on the steps when three unknown men approached, then shot at him several times. He was taken to Aria Health System’s Torresdale campus, where he is currently receiving treatment

Investigators have not released a motive for the shooting and no arrests have yet been made.
