Man stabs brother after watching boxing match

Police say a man was fatally stabbed Saturday night by his brother after the two had watched the Mayweather-Pacquaio boxing match, televised from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Anthony McGriff, 50, allegedly stabbed 35-year-old John McGriff multiple times around 1 a.m. Sunday after the two watched the fight and got into an argument, reports say.

Police responded to a 911 call of a “person screaming” and found the younger McGriff bloody and unconscious.

The younger McGriff leaves behind a son and daughter.

The older McGriff is charged with murder and possession of an instrument of crime.
