Three young men were killed and a fourth was badly wounded after dozens of shots were fired Monday night in Mayfair.

Officers were called at around 10 p.m. to the 7300 block of Rowland Avenue, about a block from Cottman Avenue, for a report of a person with a gun, authorities said.

They found an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man, both of whom had been shot multiple times. Medical personnel declared the pair dead at the scene, police said. A 24-year-old man, who also had several gunshot wounds, was taken to Nazareth Hospital, where he died just before 10:45 p.m., according to authorities.

The only surviving victim, a 28-year-old man, was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in critical condition, investigators said.

Authorities did not identify the victims or comment on a possible motive. Police told reporters at the scene that at least 50 shots were fired.

At least nine other people were injured in separate shootings late Monday and early Tuesday, according to police.

Also in Mayfair, at around 2 p.m. Tuesday, gunfire erupted at the McDonald’s parking lot at the corner of Cottman Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard, leaving a 21-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his right shoulder. He was later listed in stable condition.

On Tuesday, at around 12:15 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot once in the left thigh inside a house on the 100 block of Rosemar Street in Olney, authorities said. He is expected to physically recover.

Someone shot a 66-year-old man twice in his right leg at around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday on the 1500 block of Pratt Street, near Frankford Transportation Center. Investigators said he was hospitalized in stable condition.

Police responded just after 10:30 p.m. Monday to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where they encountered a 29-year-old man who had been shot in the chest.

Authorities said he was in critical condition following the shooting, which occurred on the 5300 block of W. Stiles Street, in the Carroll Park section of West Philadelphia.

Two other victims of the shooting were taken in a private vehicle to Delaware County Memorial Hospital. A 30-year-old man was being treated for serious injuries after being shot in the chest, and a 19-year-old man had gunshot wounds to both hands, according to police.

Two people were struck when shots were fired just before 9:30 p.m. Monday on the 1300 block of Narragansett Street in East Germantown.

Investigators said a 27-year-old man was shot in the back and rushed to Einstein Medical Center in critical condition. The other victim, a 32-year-old man, was struck in the leg and is expected to physically recover, police said.

Earlier Monday, just before 7 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot once in his left foot on the 3600 block of N. 15th Street in the Tioga neighborhood of North Philadelphia, authorities said. His injuries are not expected to be life-threatening.

A 12-year-old boy was grazed by a bullet sometime between 4 and 6 p.m. Monday on the 5200 block of Parkside Avenue in West Philadelphia, according to investigators. His mother on Tuesday took him to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where he was listed in stable condition.

No arrests were made in the immediate aftermath of any of the shootings.
