A teenager in Northeast Philly claims he was the victim of a random group assault this weekend, leaving him with three staples in his head and a bruised rib.
The 14-year-old boy and his cousin, 15, were attacked on Vandike Street around 4:45 p.m., NBC reported.

A group of 10 to 12 teenagers approached the victim, asked if he knew a boy named”Robert,” and when he said no, began to attack him.
The victim tried to escape, but was chased down, grabbed, and rammed into garage doors.
Police are investigating the incident.
