Mayor Cherelle Parker celebrated her historic inauguration on Tuesday, Jan. 2, with a gala at the Fillmore Philadelphia. When she took to the stage to greet the hundreds of supporters in attendance at the sold out party, she even spitted out lyrics from Eric B. and Rakim song “My Melody” in her remarks.
