Star little league pitcher Mo’Ne Davis of the Taney Dragons is now pitching cars for Chevrolet.
In a ne w commercial directed by Spike Lee called “Throw Like A Girl,” Mo’Ne is shown eating pizza and throwing her trademark fastball.
There is a three minute and a sixteen-minute version of the commercial.
“I throw 70 miles per hour. That’s strong like a girl,” Mo’nenarrates in the video. “My name is Mo’neDavis, and I represent South Philly.”
Mo’nedescribes her wild experience in summer 2014, pitching for the Taney Dragons as they went into the Little League World Series
The commercial ends with Mo’ne running up the steps at the Philadelpa Museum of Art.
The clipends with the words: ” Chevrolet celebrates Mo’ne Davis and those who remind us that anything is possible.”
