Morgan’s Pier Fall Fest kicks off this week

With the fall season now in full force, there are plenty of fun activities to get excited about—and this month Morgan’s Pier will truly be throwing down autumn-style. Aside from debuting a new seasonal menu and cocktail selection, the popular hotspot will also be hosting parties, activities and events that will make you feel all of the warm fuzzies while the weather begins to cool down.

Morgan’s Pier Fall Fest kicks off this week

Starting September 25, Morgan’s Pier will be featuring weekly events celebrating all things fall and fun. Head to the waterfront destination on Saturdays and Sundays to partake in pumpkin carving (pumpkins and kits provided), on Thursdays (8 pm-midnight) sing your heart out during karaoke, on Wednesdays (8 pm-11 pm) test your quizzo knowledge, and also on the weekends enjoy live DJ music all day and night long. To wind down from all of the colorful events, head to Morgan’s Pier on Sundays to enjoy live acoustic performances during the afternoon.

Aside from the weekly events, Morgan’s Pier will also be hosting a few parties and extravaganzas to keep the fall fever going.

Morgan’s Pier Oktoberfest (2 pm-6 pm) kicks off Saturday, October 5th, and for four hours guests will have access to an open beer bar, free soft pretzels (while supplies last), live music and food specials. The first 200 guests will also receive a limited edition Morgan’s Pier beer stein. Guests who stick around after the official Oktoberfest celebration ends can also enjoy DJ Pfef spinnin’ late into the night.

The next day, October 6, head back to the Pier with your furry friends for their popular Yappy Hour (2 pm). Wine and dine with your pup while sipping on Tito’s Handmade Vodka cocktails and indulge in other enticing specials all for a good cause. Tito’s and Morgan’s Pier partnered up to host this special event in support of the Pennsylvania SPCA. A portion of proceeds from Yappy Hour specials will also be donated.

Things are getting artsy at the popular Penns Landing spot on Saturday, October 19th (2 pm) when Master Artist Lisa Berger stops in— Berger will be leading a class centered around seasonal decor and all Philadelphians are invited out to get their fall arts and crafts fix in.

The month-long celebration commences on Saturday, October 26th with Morgan’s Pier Halloween bash (9 pm-2 am). The annual extravaganza will be hosted by Brittany Lynn, “The Don” of Philly’s Drag Mafia this year and will feature an all-night open bar, costume contest, free hotdogs and plenty of festive decor.

Morgan’s Pier will be open with new Fall hours this year, hours include Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 4 pm to close, and Saturdays and Sundays 11 am to close. For more information on Morgan’s Pier Fall Fest visit morganspier.com
