Looking to end 2023 on a delicious note? Here are the top spots to dine in Philadelphia on New Year’s Eve. 

Cuba Libre 

Locals can dine and play when they make a reservation at Cuba Libre for New Year’s Eve in Philadelphia. For $125, guests will be able to indulge in a 5-course meal, champagne toast, all non-alcoholic beverages, party favors, and late-night admission for the DJ dance party that will ring in 2024. 

As a release states, prix-fixe dinner seatings are available from 9 to 10 p.m., and guests can keep their reserved table all night while enjoying the festivities. There’s also the option to upgrade your experience with an optional drink package, or a bottle of sparkling wine of Moet & Chandon Nectar ($250), Veuve Clicquot Brut ($200), Luc Belaire Gold ($150), or Freixenet Cava ($50). A la carte dining options are also available for earlier dinner times or even brunch on Dec. 31, at Cuba Libre as well.

Almyra

Almyra is the latest opening from the Estia Restaurant Group, and this new modern Greek hotspot will be celebrating the holiday with dinner and plenty of live entertainment. 

As the release notes, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. guests can enjoy à la carte dishes from Almyra’s dinner menu spanning charred octopus, lamb chops, lavraki, and other options, plus belly dancing performances, showgirls, a DJ, a complimentary champagne toast at midnight, and more. This event is pay-as-you-go and does not require a ticket, however, reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made on Resy through Almyra’s website.

Assembly Rooftop Lounge 

Why not finish off 2023 on a high note? For New Year’s Eve in Philadelphia, Assembly Rooftop Lounge will be offering a New Year’s Eve Party from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. with reservations available up until 9:30 p.m. (after that time, the rooftop will be first come, first serve.) 

While there, guests can check out everything Assembly’s winter-time pop-up, Alpine Heights, has to offer. Offerings span the Liquid Love ($18) with Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey, ganache hot chocolate and Chantilly cream; the Evergreen Elixir ($17) with Bahnez Mezcal, Beefeater gin, matcha, simple, lemon and egg white, a selection of flatbreads ($14-16); cheese ($18) and charcuterie ($17); and two different fondues.

Forsythia

If you’re looking for a prix fixe option for New Year’s Eve in Philadelphia, the acclaimed French eatery Forsythia is offering up an indulgent offer. $120 will get diners a five-course menu with highlights spanning artichoke and black truffle soup, escargot aux champignons, duck fat roasted scallops, Rohan duck breast a l’orange, and a baba au rhum.

The Twisted Tail

To ring in 2024, The Twisted Tail will bring back its annual Burlesque & Blues. As a release states, the lively evening will feature live music from the Mikey Junior Band starting at 9 p.m. plus burlesque performances throughout the evening. 

Tickets are highly encouraged and range from The Lindy Hop ($30), which includes a cover charge and midnight champagne toast, to The Jive ($85) which includes a four-course prix fixe dinner after 6 p.m. and admission to the party with a champagne toast. Finally, The Charleston ($150) option includes VIP reserved seating, a four-course dinner and a 3-hour premium open bar.

Enswell

For New Year’s Eve in Philadelphia, Enswell will be offering a glitzy celebration full of champagne towers, French hip-hop, and balloons galore. 

Cocktails will include the Champagne Kiki Bacot made with creme de violette, bubbles and lemon foam, the Slay Ride featuring bourbon, cranberry shrub, lemon and black walnut bitters and the Gin & Tonic Soigné made with gin and elderflower tonic, pine branch and dried lime, plus, non-alcoholic offerings.

On the food side, Philadelphians can opt-in for optional caviar and truffle add-ons, celery root casoncelli with escargot, foie gras sauce and hazelnut, a crab stuffed lobster tail with petit filet mignon and bernaise sauce, and the millionaire’s shortbread with gold pearls and chocolate ganache. NYE celebrations at Enswell will have no reservations, walk-ins only.

High Street

For New Year’s Eve in Philadelphia, High Street is open for reservations from 5:30 to 10 p.m. with a four-course prix fixe menu for $90 per person with dessert included. 

As the release notes, the sample menu from Chef Christina McKeough includes a choice of blood orange salad or poached shrimp, an oyster chowder or belgian endive salad, a pastrami crusted strip steak with caramelized shallot butter or leek and artichoke gratin, plus the option of lemon pudding cake or sticky toffee cake to finish.
