NHL Canucks Flyers free live stream, watch online

The Philadelphia Flyers host the Vancouver Canucks tonight at 7 p.m. ET at the Wells Fargo Center. Tonight is the second and final meeting between these two teams this season. Last time they met, Vancouver won 5-1 on Dec. 15.

The Canucks are eighth in the Western Conference with a 24-22-6 record and 54 points. They are four points back of the Dallas Stars for the sixth spot, but they are also in danger of falling all the way down to 13th. There is just a three-point differential between seeds Nos. 8-through-13.

Vancouver is coming off a 5-1 win over Colorado on Feb. 2. Five different skaters scored for the Canucks in the rout.

Center Elias Pettersson leads the Canucks in goals and points this season; he has 23 goals and 46 points on the year and is also second on the team in assists with 23. Goaltender, Jacob Markstrom has been solid all season long. In 38 games, he is 20-13-5 with a 2.79 GAA and a .910 save percentage.

The Flyers are 11th in the Eastern Conference with a 23-23-6 record and 52 points and are currently on a seven-game winning streak. They trail Columbus by seven points for the eighth and final playoff spot.

Philadelphia’s special teams have been a struggle this season; they have a 76.4% success rate on the penalty kill which ranks them 28th in the league and score on just 16.2% of their power play opportunities which ranks them 23rd.

One main reason for their subpar season comes from their goaltending; the Flyers have used seven different goalies and four of them have played 10 or more games this season. It’s hard for any goalie to get in a rhythm when they aren’t being played consistently.
