North Philly triple shooting leaves woman dead

A 24-year-old woman was killed and two others were wounded in a shooting early Wednesday morning in North Philadelphia.

Shots were fired just before 2:30 a.m. on the 2000 block of N. 33rd Street in Strawberry Mansion, police said.

One of the women was shot multiple times in the back and left wrist. She died a short time later at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

Authorities said a 26-year-old woman was also shot in the back and wrist and a 32-year-old woman was struck in both legs and in the pelvis area. Both were rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

No one was apprehended in the immediate aftermath of the shooting.

In Kensington, a 35-year-old man was stabbed twice in the back and once in the leg at around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday outside on the 2700 block of Kensington Avenue, police said.

Officers took him to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

A 35-year-old man survived after being shot 13 times Tuesday in North Philadelphia. The incident occurred at around 5:30 p.m. on the 4500 block of N. 4th Street, investigators said.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital with wounds to his stomach, back, chest and legs and listed in critical condition.
