Paramedic Discovers Body in East Mount Airy

A paramedic discovered the body of a shooting victim in East Mount Airy early this morning.

While transporting a patient on the 6600 block of Ross Street around 3:45 a.m., the medic saw a man lying on the ground and notified authorities.

Responders found the body of a black man in his mid-20s with a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was pronounced at the scene.

Police have not yet identified the man. No arrests have been made at this time.
