Peek-A-Boo Revue’s annual cabaret is back to heat up the holidays

There’s no shortage of ways to get into the holiday spirit in Philadelphia. You could stop by Macy’s iconic light show before taking a stroll through Love Park’s quaint Christmas Village, or watch a classic performance of the Pennsylvania Ballet’s “Nutcracker.”

Or, you could leave the kids at home and watch the city’s finest burlesque performers shake it in the name of peace on Earth and goodwill toward men.

“Slay Bells,” the Peek-A-Boo Revue’s holiday cabaret, hits stages next weekend with the troupe’s signature mix of naughty and nice, sugar and spice. We caught up with the lovely Ginger Leigh and Cherry Bomb to see what we can expect this year. (Spoiler alert: The Sugar Plum Fairy isn’t on the guest list.)

Which carol makes the best striptease music?

One that bumps and grinds!

“Slay Bells” promises an appearance of the “Magic Man.” Is it safe to say this isn’t Santa?

You’ll just have to come and find out what delightfully demonic figure we’ve pulled from ancient times.

What does Peek-A-Boo Revue want for Christmas?

To give our audience the best holiday show ever! And, of course, a lifetime supply of Swarovski crystals.
