The Free Library’s annual Philadelphia Book Festival is coinciding with National Library Week, April 13-19, with workshops and author appearances at the main library on the Parkway and at neighborhood libraries throughout the week.
Free author events at the Parkway Central Library, all starting at 7:30 p.m., include:
April 14: Food Network starsPat and Gina Neely
April 15: New York Times bestselling author of women’s fiction Debbie Macomber
April 16: Barbara Ehrenreich, New York Times bestselling author of 14 books, including “Bait and Switch,” about the economic shadow world of white-collar unemployment
April 17: Anne Perry, author of popular Victorian mysteries
April 18: 2013 Man Booker International Prize recipient Lydia Davis
April 20: Investigative journalist and author Doug Fine
