Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber to host small business conference

As we approach the mid-year mark, many small business owners are starting to evaluate their progress thus far and adapt their strategy for the second half of the year. Whether you are just starting out or have been established for years, there are a few important tasks that should be prioritized during this time to ensure continued success.

First, it’s important to conduct a comprehensive financial review. This includes reviewing your profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyzing these documents can help you identify any areas of opportunity for growth and determine whether you’ve met your revenue and expense goals. If any adjustments are needed, it’s important to make them now so the rest of the year can run smoothly.

Secondly, small business owners should be considering their marketing and outreach strategies. Have you reached your target customers effectively? Are there any new strategies you’d like to try in the second half of the year? It’s important to have a well-rounded approach that includes both online and offline marketing, as well as building relationships with other local businesses and networking opportunities.

Attending a small business conference, such as the Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s upcoming annual Closing the Gap Conference, provides a multitude of benefits for business owners. These gatherings provide great opportunities to network with likeminded entrepreneurs and professionals. In addition, featured speakers and panel discussions provide attendees with access to insider knowledge and new perspectives on industry trends and best practices. Finally, attending conferences allows business owners to take a step back from the day-to-day running of their businesses and reflect on their goals and strategies while being exposed to fresh ideas and concepts. Overall, attending small business conferences is an essential component of any successful small business owner’s toolkit.

This year’s Closing the Gap Conference, will feature a conversation with Alejandro Manzanarez, who leads JP Morgan Chase’s initiatives to advance Hispanic Entrepreneurship in the US; a plenary session about the role of cryptocurrency in financial strategies; plus, sessions on marketing; business exit strategies, and much more. The half-day conference will take place June 20, at Rivers Casino.
