This weekend is the Philadelphia Marathon and to support all of the hardworking runners participating, top spots around the city will be offering deals worth sprinting for, plus, some prime ways to prepare.
Levain Rittenhouse
The new cookie locale opened in Center City last month, and its offering a sweet deal for those participating in the Philadelphia Marathon. As a release notes, co-founders, Pam Weekes and Connie McDonald are triathletes and met swimming, so running is very near and dear to them and the brand. To celebrate, athletes can head to Levain this weekend and show their bib (or medal) to redeem a free two-chip chocolate chip cookie.
Other options to try while there include chocolate chip walnut (also available as gluten-free/vegan), dark chocolate chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin, plus, some new additions like caramel coconut chocolate chip and the seasonal fall chocolate chunk (with flavors of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and molasses.) The Rittenhouse bakery also offers coffee, an assortment of breads, loaf cakes, pastries, brioche, and weekend-only sticky buns — all baked in-house daily.

Loch Bar
Loch Bar Philly is offering Philly marathoners one free signature “Crush” from their menu. All you have to do is show your bib or medal to score the drink, with flavors spanning orange, grapefruit, cosmo and green tea. While there, visitors can pair their drink with some different dishes including crab tater tots, bay scallop crudo, Maryland crab cakes, crispy Peking duck breast, an assortment of caviar and much more.

Hard Rock is offering everyone participating in any of the Philadelphia Marathon events $10 off $50 (by showing your bib/medal.) Menu items span an assortment of wings, flatbreads, burgers, salads, bowls, desserts, plus a full bar serving up mixed drinks, beer and cocktails.

Health and Fitness Expo
The Health and Fitness Expo offers athletes participating in the Philadelphia Marathon access to 30 vendors showcasing the newest running apparel, shoes and accessories, While there, runners preparing for the race can also score free product samples, or, get tips on health and fitness from experts.
The Expo is free to enter and also hosts an educational Speaker Series, featuring ten-time USATF Champion Aliphine Tuliamuk, American long-distance runner and 2016 Olympian Jared Ward, adaptive athlete and motivational speaker Chris Koch, and Bart Yasso, the inventor of the Yasso 800s, a release notes.
The expo will be at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on Friday (Nov. 22) from noon to 9 p.m., and Saturday (Nov. 23) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
