“The Philadelphia Marketplace at Dilworth Park is an annual tradition that kicks off the end of summer and early fall season in Philadelphia,” said Project Manager Ronja Baumann in a statement. “Everyone is back from the shore and back to the office in Center City, and we can’t wait to introduce a great artisan line-up for this September, with something for everyone. There will be gifts, household goods, art, jewelry and more – including some fun things for kids.”

Each weekend offers a unique opportunity to explore distinctive arts and crafts with everything from handmade stuffed pals, modern artwork, candles and soaps, fragrances, clothing, coffee, handmade jewelry, body butters, exfoliants, hand sanitizers, lifestyle essentials, home goods, watches and more. Vendors will rotate throughout the month, with some being there every weekend, and others making a special appearance on select weekends.

This outdoor pop-up market is organized by the organizers of Christmas Village in Philadelphia and the CCD and it is free to attend.

“My favorite thing about this event is that it is a regularly weekly showcase of local vendors from the Philadelphia region – it’s a truly amazing way to support local businesses, support small businesses, and find something special for yourself at the same time. It is truly a win-win,” said Baumann.”
