The Inaugural Philadelphia Polo Classic was a huge success, with thousands of spectators attending the event Saturday Sept. 24, at Edgely Field in East Fairmount Park.

There were two major matches on Saturday, with West Philly native Kareem Rosser—Philadelphia Polo Classic founder, polo champion and author—leading one team and his friend, Argentine polo player Nacho Figueras, leading the other.

All proceeds benefited Work to Ride, a nonprofit program founded by Lezlie Hiner that offers the sport to disadvantaged urban youth in Philadelphia.
