Lovers of animals and beer alike have the perfect opportunity to come together and support animal conservation as Summer Ale Festival, the wildest festival in Philly, returns to the Philadelphia Zoo on Saturday, July 20, from 7 to 10 p.m.
Guests can expect to enjoy complimentary parking, free shuttle service from 30th Street Station, a signature souvenir tasting cup, award-winning craft beers, seltzers and ciders, nearly a dozen food trucks with a variety of foods to purchase, live music zones throughout the Zoo, and access to the Zoo’s 42-acre campus to visit select animal exhibits.
With over 100 award-winning samples of various craft beers, seltzers, and ciders, guests can enjoy unlimited samples of these delicious drinks and some of the area’s top food trucks while enjoying the sights of the Philadelphia Zoo and the sounds of live music throughout the zoo.
Among the many breweries in attendance will be Angry Orchard, Broad Street Brewing, Cape May, Dewey Beer Co., Double Nickel Brewing Co., Evil Genius, MudHen, Sam Adams, Sea Isle Ice Tea, Ship Bottom Brewery, Stateside, Tired Hands Brewing Company, Twisted Tea, Yards Brewing Company, and more.
On the food front, guests can enjoy the delicious tastes of A Taste of Philly, Bacon on a Stick, Bonjour Creperie, BYZ. Empire, Calle Del Sabor, Deke’s BBQ, Grubaholics, The Little Sicilian, and The Pasta Truck in between samplings of award winning beer.

Summer Ale Festival is limited to those 21 or older with valid identification. Tickets are available exclusively through the Zoo’s website and will not be available for purchase at the door.
